• Packaging Details: An MS Swaged Pole is the classic Indian street light pole — built by joining multiple steel tubes that are tapered (compressed) together using a swaging machine. It’s the most budget-friendly pole type used across India. 1. What Exactly Is a Swaged Pole? It’s made by taking multiple mild steel tubes, reducing the diameter of one end (swaging), and inserting it into the next tube to create a continuous tapered pole. Usually 2 to 3 sections Height range: 5m to 12m Follows IS:2713 (Part 1 & 2) This is the “old-school” pole design — still widely used because it’s cheap, strong, and easy to produce. 2.
